A few hours later, I started goinE solo, and it was wonderful. Oh, the animals I saw every day from that cockpit! | would fly for long periods gazing down at Baghdad zoo, where huge herds of buffalo and I used to see plenty of giraffes, wildebeest would walk in all directions. rhinos, elephants and lions. I flew over pink flamingoes way round the highest lraqi mountains. and then all the Adapted from Flying So/o by Waleed Hassoun
